How pricing works
Clear fees, fixed when they are charged

Per transaction
You pay on money that moves. Fees are set per transaction type, so a payment, a payout and a transfer can each be priced for what they are.

Your choice of who pays
A fee can be added on top for your customer to pay, or deducted from what you receive. We agree which with you.

Frozen on every transaction
The fee is fixed the moment a transaction is priced and stored with it. A later price change never touches a payment that already happened.

Pricing questions
Can I try Sabi before agreeing pricing?
Yes. Sign up with your phone number and use test mode straight away. Test payments use test money, so nothing is charged to a real account.
What do I need to take real payments?
Your business's legal name, TIN, trade licence and address, sent from Manage Business in the dashboard. Your live keys start working once your business is verified.
Will my customers see the fee?
If the fee is paid by the customer, it is itemised on the checkout before they pay, with the same label that appears on your statement.
Which payment methods are included?
telebirr, CBE Birr, M-PESA, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia accounts, and Visa and Mastercard cards at the checkout. Payouts go to the four local methods.
